🇮🇳 India’s Strategic Missile Power: Preparing with S-400, S-500 & K6 Amid Rising Global Tensions
India’s Defense Strategy and Missile Plans
India is now preparing for a major war. For both defense and attack, India has made a dangerous plan. According to reports, India is going to bring more S-400 units from Russia. Also, India has started discussions with Russia about the S-500 system. Along with these two weapons, India is now preparing to launch an even more dangerous missile than BrahMos. The missile India is going to launch is so deadly that it might make India the king of the missile world. In this blog, we will tell you how big a war India is preparing for.
Lessons from the Iran-Israel War
Actually, the kind of war that happened between Iran and Israel has given India a clear idea. If China attacks directly or through Pakistan, then what strategy should be followed. India is now heavily relying on powerful air defense systems and deadly ballistic missiles. The way Iran attacked Israel surprised many countries including India. Iran carried out 90% of its attack with ballistic missiles and only 10% with drones. Iran didn’t even use its air force. Just by sitting far away, Iran caused massive destruction in Israel using ballistic missiles.
However, Israel had different kinds of air defense systems — that’s why the damage was reduced to one-tenth. In this war, two things became most important — first, ballistic missiles, and second, a strong air defense system. Keeping this in mind, India has made a big announcement about both. As per reports, India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had a major discussion with Russia’s Defense Minister regarding the S-400. India has asked Russia to quickly deliver the remaining two units of the S-400.
Why China Keeps Buying Oil from Iran Despite Global Sanctions
Along with that, India has also asked for two additional S-400 units. It is also reported that India has started talks on the S-500. The S-500 is an upgraded version of the S-400. These two Russian air defense systems will be deployed together with India’s indigenous air defense systems. Just like S-400 and Akash worked together against Pakistan, now they will be used with ten times more strength against China. It cannot be denied that China and Pakistan can also attack India with ballistic missiles like Iran did.
China can only target India using ballistic and hypersonic missiles. In this situation, India needs more and the most powerful air defense systems, and work on that has already started quickly. So far, we talked about defense. Now let’s talk about attack. India is also trusting ballistic missiles a lot now. Iran has shown how dangerous ballistic missiles can be. At this stage, India is now preparing to launch its most dangerous ballistic missile. This missile is called K6.
K-Series Missiles and India’s Next Big Move
K6 is a hypersonic ballistic missile that can be launched from a submarine. Its speed is 9000 km/h, and its range is up to 8000 km. It is said that the Indian Navy is soon going to test this missile at sea — meaning, a sea trial. Apart from the K9, India is also making all its ballistic missiles battle-ready — so that they are ready for action anytime in a war situation.
India has many types of ballistic missiles. First comes short-range ballistic missiles — like ‘Prithvi’ and ‘Dhanush’. After that, there are medium-range ballistic missiles — under this category comes ‘Agni-1’, which has a range of 700 to 1200 km.
Then comes intermediate-range ballistic missiles — including ‘Agni-2’ and ‘Agni-3’. ‘Agni-2’ has a range of 2000 to 3500 km, while ‘Agni-3’ has a range of 3500 to 5000 km. After that comes intercontinental ballistic missiles — under this category comes ‘Agni-5’, whose range is more than 5000 km. Along with all these missiles, India is now also testing the submarine-launched K-series missiles.
K-15 and K-4 are already in use. Now it’s time for K-5 and K-6. K-5 has a range of 5000 to 6000 km, and K-6 has a range of 8000 to 9000 km. These missiles will destroy the enemy completely.
