US Strikes on Iran’s Nuclear Sites: How Islamic Countries Reacted
After the US attacked Iran's three major nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—tensions in the Middle East have intensified. On Sunday morning, US President Donald Trump announced that America had completed its attacks on these Iranian nuclear sites.
Iran strongly condemned the attacks, calling them a violation of the United Nations Charter.
Following the strikes, several Islamic countries have voiced their reactions.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia expressed deep concern over the American strikes on Iran's nuclear sites, calling it a violation of Iran's sovereignty. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating:
"Saudi Arabia expresses deep concern regarding the recent developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly the targeting of nuclear facilities by the United States. The Kingdom is closely monitoring the situation and calls on the international community to intensify efforts during this highly sensitive period to find a political solution and begin a new chapter of regional peace and stability."
Qatar
Qatar expressed regret over the attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites and showed deep concern about the rising regional tension. It called for an immediate halt to all military operations. In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said:
"Qatar is closely watching the situation with deep concern after the recent attacks targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. The current tension could lead to disastrous consequences at both regional and international levels."

IRAQ
Iraq strongly condemned the US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, calling it a serious threat to peace and security in the Middle East. A statement from the Iraqi government said:
"The Iraqi government condemns the targeting of nuclear sites within the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran. These military actions pose a grave danger to regional peace and stability. Iraq opposes the use of force in international relations and supports the protection of the sovereignty and key infrastructures of all nations, especially those nuclear facilities that operate under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency for peaceful purposes."
Pakistan
Pakistan also condemned the US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The government said these strikes came after Israel's series of attacks and could worsen tensions in the entire region. A statement from Pakistan said:
"Pakistan condemns the recent US attacks on Iranian nuclear sites, which followed a series of Israeli strikes. We are concerned about the possibility of rising tensions in the region. These attacks violate all norms of international law, and Iran has the legitimate right to self-defense under the United Nations Charter. If the situation deteriorates further, it may not only affect this region but also have consequences for other parts of the world."
